S840 A well designed early Georgian mahogany draughtsman’s table with a lifting top held by a brass release catch, pen and pencil drawers on either side and a pop-up book support with a mechanism that causes it to rise up when the top is lifted and close flush to the surface when the top is flat - very ingenious!
