A George III Chippendale period mahogany bookcase of a good original colour and patina: the handsome triangular broken pediment with carved dentils above a pair of 13 pane astragal glazed doors. The base with well figured panel doors. The bookcase appears to have been reduced in width some considerable time ago ~ the bun feet have a good old patina and stylistically are circa 1830 so it is possible that it was reduced then.
