Giltwood console table
A fine late 17th Century / early 18th century Italian or French giltwood console table retaining much of its original gilding; supported on well carved caryatids with scroll feet, the frieze with carved acanthus leaves, rococo scrolls and a carved mask on a ground with incised lattice decoration. The mottled grey marble was probably made for the table in the 18th Century.
