Large Louis XV style round giltwood table with mahogany top. Extends further with outer leaves supported by lopers.
The giltwood base with elaborate carved detail: scrolling frieze with rose centres, cabriole legs with scrolls, garlands of flowers and hoof feet, united by shaped stretchers with carved acanthus and central flower.

Most of the gilt is original but it has been restored where worn.
The leaves, old additions.

The diameter without the extensions is 70.5" (179cm)
