A pair of late 18th century Irish plate buckets in mahogany of a good colour and patina. Coopered construction with brass bands and swing handles. Some of the slats were a bit loose and have been tightened up and we also cleaned the brass and waxed up the woodwork.

Provenance: From a house near Salisbury whose owners were of Irish descent.
