Antique Chippendale mahogany kneehole desk or dressing table

A George II/III Chippendale period mahogany kneehole desk or dressing table: the top drawer fitted with a baize-lined writing slide and an ink drawer; original brasses
The writing slide is unusual: normally you would write on the top surface and your knees would fit into a tight kneehole. This one with its overhanging writing drawer and 25" knee room is much more comfortable to write at.
