Camphor wood campaign chest
Chinese made camphor wood campaign chest with brass corners, carrying handles at each end, a lock with a brass key plate and a recessed brass handle at the front to lift the lid by.
Camphor wood was used because the smell of the camphor oil in the timber was a deterrent to insects.
Camphor trunks come in different sizes, the small one on top is not included in the price.
