Coalport dessert dervice
A fine Regency John Rose, Coalport porcelain dessert service. Decorated with shaped reserves of hand painted flowers against a cobalt blue ground with good quality gilt decoration.
Thirty-seven pieces comprising a rectangular comporte on 4 feet, 4 shaped shell dishes with white and gilt handles, 4 square dishes, 4 lozenge-shaped dishes, 1 small sauce boat, cover and stand, another suace boat with stand, missing the lid and 22 plates.
The condition is generally good: one shape has a crack across the base, but not on the rim and there is some faint yellowing on some of the pieces.
